HTML dfn - how to use <dfn> tag

The HTML <dfn> tag is used to define the term. The nearest parent tag contains the definition for the term.

The <dfn> tag can be used with or without the title attribute that provides extra information. The <dfn> tag can be used with the abbr tag. The id attribute of the <dfn> tag can also be used to link to it.

Attributes

The dfn tag supports the global and event attributes.
