HTML object - how to use <object> tag

The HTML <object> tag is used to embed objects into a HTML page. For example the <object> tag can be used to embed flash file. Another web page can also be embedded within the current HTML page using the <object> tag.

The param attribute can be used to pass parameters to the <object> tag.

An alternate text can be defined for the <object> tag by placing text within <object> tag.

The object tag supports the global and event attributes.

data
Defines one URL to the resource
form
Defines one more form ids that this <object> tag belongs to
height
Defines the height of the <object> tag
name
Defines the name of the <object> tag
type
Defines the media type of the data attribute
usemap
Defines the id of the image map this <object> tag belongs to
width
Defines the width of the <object> tag
